While conducting crime prevention duties in Primrose, members of Germiston Cluster Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT and Gauteng Traffic Police received intelligence regarding a Hyundai Accent linked to a burglary in Norkem Park. Officers responded to the information and successfully located and seized the vehicle.
In a separate operation, members of STT (Eastern Corridor) received an alert from Cartrack regarding hijacked vehicles.
– A Suzuki Dzire, hijacked in Ivory Park Extension 2, was successfully recovered in Motsu Section, Tembisa.
– A Toyota Corolla, also hijacked in Ivory Park Extension 2, was recovered in Ivory Park Extension 8, Tembisa, with the victim found tied inside the boot.
