In a collaborative effort to ensure a safe and pleasant cross-over to the new year, 2025 for the people of Gauteng, the Acting National Commissioner, Lt Gen Tebello Mosikili and Gauteng Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Tommy Mthombeni are leading the multidisciplinary roadblock at Johannesburg on the M1 North.
The operations will be running concurrently throughout the province and several crime prevention activities including roadblocks, liquor compliance inspections, vehicle check points and stop and searches for illegal firearms, contraband, vehicle road worthiness and motorists are also tested for drink and driving to enhance road safety during festivity celebrations….
