Members of SAPS Online Intervention Unit, Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (NC), TSHENOLO P.I, GTW Rietgat, and Wezindlela Group acted on information regarding a vehicle stolen under false pretenses in Kempton Park.
The suspects used a fake proof of payment to fraudulently acquire the vehicle before reselling it to an unsuspecting buyer for R40,000.
The vehicle was traced to Soshanguve Block HH, where it was discovered that the ownership status had changed and the registration details had been updated.
