In the early hours of Thursday, 14 May 2026, members of the Provincial Anti-Hijacking Task Team in Ehlanzeni, in collaboration with Crime Intelligence, conducted an intelligence-driven operation in the Bushbuckridge area. The operation led to the arrest of two foreign nationals.
One of the suspects was positively identified as a person wanted in connection with a murder case currently under investigation at Bolobedu SAPS in Limpopo.
The two suspects, aged 42 and 40, face charges of possession of a prohibited firearm, unlawful possession of live ammunition, and murder. According to authorities, one of the individuals is undocumented, while the other is documented.
