Incident Report: Suspect Vehicle with Cloned Plates Intercepted
During a recent patrol, our Community Responders used License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology to identify a suspect vehicle using cloned license plates.
Silverton SAPS’s investigations revealed that the vehicle was linked to multiple cell phone thefts.
Thanks to swift coordination, TMPD successfully intercepted the vehicle. Two suspects were taken into custody for further questioning, and the car was seized.
