Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting in Kuyga, Greenbushes, in the early hours of Sunday, 22 March 2026.
According to the SAPS Kabega Park, a 27-year-old man sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and right side of his body and died at the scene.
During an investigation, a 9mm Norinco pistol was discovered in a neighboring yard and confiscated, along with spent cartridges.
A male suspect was subsequently arrested and detained on a charge of murder. The motive for the incident remains under investigation.
