Two male suspects, aged 19 and 20, have been arrested by Tsolo police in connection with a fatal carjacking that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 08 March 2026.
According to police reports, officers were alerted to a carjacking in progress at Tsolo Village at approximately 04:00. Upon arrival at the scene, they discovered a 30-year-old male victim deceased. The victim had sustained multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
The victim’s hijacked vehicle was found stuck in a nearby hole. While attempting to flee the scene, two male suspects were apprehended by police. The vehicle keys were found in the possession of one of the suspects. Both individuals had clothing heavily stained with blood. These clothes were collected by law enforcement to obtain scientific evidence.
Authorities have confirmed that a third suspect involved in the incident managed to evade arrest and is currently being sought by Tsolo police. The two suspects in custody are expected to appear before the Tsolo Magistrate’s Court soon.
