KwaZulu-Natal police arrested three suspects, aged 25 to 26, in KwaDabeka on Monday, 22 December 2025. They were charged with possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
Police investigations indicate the suspects are alleged hitmen and are linked to a series of armed robberies in Clermont and KwaMashu.
The recovered firearms will undergo ballistics testing to determine if they were used in other crimes.
