Police h
ave arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with a series of robbery and rape incidents that took place at Silver Charms in the Lephalale policing area on March 14 and 15, 2026.
The suspect was apprehended on March 19, 2026, during an intelligence-driven operation conducted by detectives at Lephalale.
Authorities recovered several items believed to be linked to the crimes, including a firearm, ammunition, clothing suspected to have been used during the offenses, and stolen property such as a laptop and footwear.
According to preliminary information, the suspect may be linked to multiple additional house robbery cases in the Lephalale policing area, as a similar modus operandi was employed.
