The Provincial Murder and Robbery Unit in Bloemfontein has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating nine suspects connected to a violent business robbery and attempted murder that occurred in Ladybrand last month.
The incident took place on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at approximately 7:00 PM. According to police reports, nine unidentified men stormed into a local factory. The suspects were allegedly armed with a firearm.
During the armed invasion, a man was shot. Furthermore, a security guard on the premises was robbed of his personal cellphone. Although the suspects attempted to steal money from the business, their efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.
A case of business robbery and attempted murder is currently under investigation by authorities.
