Members of the Upington Crime Prevention Unit arrested a female suspect on a drug-related charge at a fuel station in Upington on Friday, 20 March 2026.
According to police reports, the suspect was intercepted at the scene and found in possession of three bags. A subsequent search of the luggage revealed a large quantity of dagga with an estimated street value of R670,500.
The suspect was arrested for dealing in dagga.
