he Upington Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 16 March 2026, convicted and sentenced 19-year-old Zàdray Van Rooyen to 15 years’ imprisonment for the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old boy.
The court handed down the sentence with three years wholly suspended. The stabbing occurred on 6 June 2025.
